The outer look of the temple is magnificent. It's a must-go-to place when you are in Delhi. There's ample space for parking. The management is also appreciable. They'll provide you instructions over the speaker. The entrance is totally free. Parking is also free. But you'll definitely be drained out by sun if you go in the daytime because of lack of shade and also due to long lines of visitors. To escape the heat, the best time would be in the evening when they also showcase a beautiful water fountain and also sometimes

a few clips from Hindu mythical stories. But the crowd will be the same no matter what time of the day it is. They don't allow any metallic items inside the premises. So it's better to keep them back in your vehicle rather than standing in line for deposit. No photos allowed inside the premises and also no food items.

Best place to be in peace. One can simply spend the whole day there enjoying the architecture, museum, movie and boat ride. The canteen is huge and serves traditional yummy food. The best thing is that phones are not allowed here. Awesome experience. One cannot regret being here.

This is a beautiful, peaceful and architectural wonder place. Excellent silence in the main temple. Full of divine vibrations. Once you enter the temple you can easily connect with many wow moments. Well, maintain the place. Apart from this, they offer pure veg food at a very reasonable price

The laser show and foundation attracted me. Well kept tidy and clean. In every aspect it is perfect. A unique temple n India. Vast and huge in both it's exteriors and interiors. Full security is here, restricting from cameras and phones and also shoes and sandals(the preliminary step to enter a worship place). seems like an empire. With amenities of food court with all types of dessert and juices and then play area for children, laser shows and more. Beyond words to say. They really amused me
So it's better to go and see it, it was a worth worthy trip for me.
Hope this would help you

It's mesmerizing. Very grand Temple and beautiful architecture throughout the premises. has a lot of seating areas, a cafeteria, and a gift shop. One can spend at least half a day and would still feel like spending more time here. Personal items such as mobile phones, cameras, other electronic devices are not allowed. You can just carry a small purse and transparent water bottles inside for security reasons. Would have preferred to visit it in the evening though.

One of the best places to visit in Delhi. You need at least 1 day to visit the whole temple. The temple has magnificent shows which end up late in the evening. The shows consist of Robotic Show, Short Film, Boat Ride, and Water show. All the shows are very amusing and worth the tickets. The ticket prices are genuine. The mobile phone is not allowed inside the premises.

Pretty awesome place. A modern take on ancient Indian architecture and scripture-based spectacles. The water show is worth the wait. It starts at about 7:30 pm. People of all ages can have a good time here. You might have to queue to deposit your electronic devices they wouldn't let them in. And the merchandise is also available here.

A holy place which is the point of attraction in Delhi for tourists and locals also. This temple is very big and very beautiful. You can go here by an autobus or metro. The nearest metro station is Akshardham. Entry is free but for some Attractive musical shows, you need to pay. Overall a nice place to visit.

Akshardham Temple is one of the famous holy scenic spots located in Delhi. The Yellow Line Metro is a better option for you to reach here. The carving of the temple is in its unique beauty. Cleanliness, gentle conduct of staff, you will be very helpful in strolling here. The photography here is completely prohibited. It's a great place to visit with our family and friends.

This place is totally breathtaking.  The architecture is nothing you will see in all the world. The boat ride blew my mind into such amazing facts of history. The laser show seriously takes your breath away. I stood in awe of complete beauty

Good for family outing and children. But this is not a spiritual place if anyone thinking such then you will be disappointed. Huge campus needs a good amount of time, bags, mobile and photography strictly prohibited. entry is free but inside many fancy activities happen and for those, you have to buy tickets which cost you 100-800(depending upon activities).  Metro station is around 200m from the temple.

It is a marvelous place. But you need lots of money to enjoy a boat ride, documentary movie, water show, etc. Don't try to have lunch here. The food is very overpriced here as the quality is very high but the quantity is very low. You should undergo airport level checking. I don't want to discourage you but its worth a visit.

I love the place when I get a chance to go there. The place is really spiritual and moral for my peace of mind. We are enjoying the place every time. The water show is really fantastic. The kids, as well as parents, enjoy the show with good morals. The exhibition is also famous for its intended purpose of the reality show. Bit concern for the time taken the process in security check but it's also a much-needed process for everyone's security. Please have a visit with good moral and spiritual attach. The communication is also is very as you can choose the metro option Akshardham Metro station in the blue line. Also, you can choose a cab, taxi, auto.

Very nice place to see in Delhi. The best I found,  was a fountain show. It's fascinating and I have not seen such a 3D fountain show anywhere else India. Anybody visiting Delhi must go to this place. It's easy to reach there via a blue line metro. Entry is free but charges for different shows. Camera not allowed inside. There is a cloakroom where you need to submit all your electronics items before entry. Monday it's closed. Good to visit is from Jan to April. Rest other months, either Delhi climate is too hot or too chilled.

The most amazing architecture I have ever seen in my life. I loved the temple and temple grounds. The tours are a must-see religious educational experience. All the tours were available in English. The light show was an exquisite musical and visual piece that was engaging from start to finish even though it was all in Hindi. The place is visited by tens of thousands of people, so I recommend going on a weekday

This is a must-visit place in Delhi. If you are for a trip to Delhi please must visit here. The timings of this place are strict so please on time. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the campus. Not to worry about that they have landline phones inside and they also have the proper room for the safety of your mobile and other luggage. The light show is fabulous.

Quite amazing space. The place is Huge. Admission is free but pays for the exhibits because they are worth it just for the incredible water show. The rest seemed like a bit of a sales job, but was still very interesting and the boat ride had tons of historical info that comes in fast and furious and needs a couple visits for it to all sink in.

A place is full of positive energy! Before going in, you have to store all your belonging outside, don't worry people is super safe! The food is clean and safe too. Once you step in, you will feel that you step into another world.

It's a lovely place to visit in all throughout the year since they have shade and cafeterias all around. Preferably don't visit in peak summer which is in May. They have cool robotics experience one should never miss. The ticket charge is seriously worth it. Go for it guys. I went there with my parents and they loved it.

I was surprised to see this place as it was so much well maintained and more shocking was the fact that they don't have any entry fee as well!! The washroom facility and drinking water is available at various locations around the whole temple compound. The food court is clean and there is a good variety of food available. The audiovisual experience is something one should not miss. It takes around 1.5hrs for the audiovisual tour. Then there is a beautiful water and light show after sunset. The whole tour including a visit to the souvenir shop at the end should take around good 4-5 hours.
Closed on Mondays.
Best time to visit: 3-4pm so that one can attend the light show after sunset.
Best days to visit: Any weekday during winters or mild summer days.

The most amazing architecture I have ever seen in my life. I loved the temple and temple grounds. The tours are a must-see religious educational experience. All the tours were available in English. It would be a great treat for the artist especially these sculpture work. Other than I don't get any Temple to feel or vibration. You must visit to see this fabulous artwork. there are some shows like boat riding, light show, and dramas. I found the most riding is totally waste as you feel the artificial setup maybe kids can enjoy since it was more like a toy boat ?? The light show was good. And I liked those dramas as I m nostalgia.

There are a variety of foods from South to North to Chinese at a reasonable price.

In the end, you can shop if you wish in the gallery. Most of them are really the cheapest. Cons are those every product has its promotional code

Not that great. Because it's a very recent construction and there's no historical significance, I wasn't that much impressed. It was very crowded. The queues for security check was terrible. Wondered if there might be a stampede in the crowd. The only good thing is the water show. They won't allow cameras or any electronic device inside. They won't allow anything inside for that matter. Only purses are allowed. All belongings should be kept in the cloakroom.

It is an amazing heritage place which provides a great outlook of the architecture. It doesn't allow any kind of bags and electronics and photography are also prohibited in the Akshardham Temple. It is a very attractive tourist spot and usually is very crowded and might have to wait for long hours to explore. Be an Early bird if you want to explore it completely but do not miss the night show which has various light shows and dance performances.
It is very accessible as it is connected to Metro, Yellow Line. There is a big problem with bags and no photography rule you shouldn't Carry any camera or electronics inside but you can carry water bottles

No doubt it's the magnificent temple, the outer look of the temple is amazing. The carving of the temple is beautiful. It's a must-go place when you are in NCR. But the staff is very rude even with young kids. You should undergo airport level checking. Don't try to lunch over there, food is very overpriced and you will get low quality and quantity. The restrooms are very dirty and you can't find a single baby Diaper changing station over there. It is a necessary thing.

It is one of the famous temples of Delhi. The nearest metro station from this temple is Akshardham metro station. Many people with their families and friends gather here from morning to evening. In my opinion, the afternoon and evening is the best time to visit this beautiful temple.

Before entering the temple you have to put your mobile and other electronic devices in counter....as electronic devices are not allowed inside the temple .....
The whole area inside this temple is very neat and clean, and well maintained....the bathrooms are also very clean.....
There was a huge car parking place.
Must visit if you are in Delhi.......

It has beautiful architecture and light and sound show inside.  We had gone there in 2011 n security was very tight as there had been bombing in its Ahmedabad one and they were stripping checking the men. you can't take your mobile and any belonging.  So it takes around half an hr to one hour to complete the check-ins. But it was worth visiting.

Beautiful temple with great architecture where one can spend a whole day without getting bored. The place is well maintained and kept clean. The food inside is a little expensive but the taste is good. Don't miss out on the musical fountain and laser show that happens during evenings and the boat ride is also very good where they explain the greatness and significance of India in the world which every Indian should know.

This is a wonderful temple. A never miss visiting in Delhi. If you are a lover of arts mainly sculptures and wonder at sculptures of our old temples, then you must see this temple. The craftsmanship of golden times was adopted in recent times and history is recreated in the form of a temple. I was spellbound, speeches on seeing the sculptures. The maintenance of the temple is extremely good.  I prefer to go to this temple to Tajmahal Agra.

Excellent architecture. Two eyes are not sufficient to see the structures of the temple. It was maintaining very good, clean and neat. Laser, Water, and Sound show are excellent here. We should not miss it if we visit Akshardham. Some other shows are also there, we will get to know the timings at the time of the visit. Visiting the temple at around 4 pm is ideal.
Great tourist place, security levels far exceeding the airport. Amazing song and light show at the fountain.

Pomp, luxury, opulence everything that can distract anyone from the spiritual path

Overall, it is Ghanshyam s theme park on par with Disney and the universal kingdom.

Timepass if you have half a day to kill in the evening.

Its a great experience visiting Akshardham Temple. Better to visit at early hours, one can avoid hassle at parking, cloakroom. It is systematic and organized. The exhibitions are really good. It is worth watching. So overall it's a considerable experience.

Inaugurated in 2005, the Akshardham temple in Delhi is known as one of the major Hindu temples in India. The structure of the temple is made from sculpted sandstone and took almost 7000 artisans to complete. The entire complex is decorated with sculpted pillars, sculptures depicting deities, sadhus and animals along with scenes from the Hindu mythology.

The place is lovely. The architecture is simply jaw-dropping. One should reach there early in the morning to avoid queues. Security check-in takes time. You have to submit almost everything in the locker outside. No mobile phones inside. Don't eat at the cafe that serves fast food. Instead, there is a restaurant towards the exit that serves proper meals like dosa, rice, etc. Please wear a cap if visiting in summers. Enjoy!

A must visit the temple. Amazing portrayal of cultural values via exhibition along with the mesmerizing temple and good vegan food. Parking is not an issue, properly organized.
Highly recommended

Temple itself is very beautiful and different to others we have seen - site is clearly signposted for tourists that can speak English - can get a cloth to cover shorts if you forget to wear trousers - food court and playground are handy facilities - light show is pretty - security really good and felt v comfortable leaving phones there - exhibitions are v high-tech and well done with good facilities for English speakers (bar the water show) - drinking water on site.

CAPITALISM HAS HIJACKED THIS TEMPLE - this temple has become a theme park with a boat ride, cinema, fast food, animated water show - no phones allowed inside purely bc they want you to use their photography services; security is very tight on this, you won’t get a phone in - focus of the site not even really on the temple but on the faith it is part of, we learned virtually nothing about the temple - if you speak English you will have to wait longer for the exhibitions as they need enough English speakers to run it.

India's best temple in the capital. Best Sculpture. Best Architecture. Best shows about Hindu religion and Lord Shri Swaminarayan. Outstanding water boat ride show showing the glory of ancient India. Best of Best is the musical fountain show in the evening after it becomes dark.

Superb Tempel of new Delhi... Akshardham is one of the biggest and so beautiful temples of new Delhi.. you can visit here with friends family children and anyone of love ones. This place is really amazing the structure, the material used to make the whole temple is so amazing.. the amazing design is used to make this temple... Security is very tight.. you are not allowed to take the phone, the bag inside the temple.their is a helping booth and there are so many canteens for food. I suggest if you are in New Delhi to visit something the go for Akshardham temple bye metro line.
