Diu is a town in the Diu district in the union territory of Daman and Diu, India. Diu District is the tenth least populated district of India. The town of Diu lies at the eastern end of Diu Island and is known for its fortress and old Portuguese cathedral. It is a fishing town.

4. Daman and Diu become part of India
December 19, 1961
For over 450 years, the coastal enclaves of Daman (Portuguese: Damão) and Diu on the Arabian Sea coast were part of Portuguese India, along with Goa and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Goa, Daman, and Diu were incorporated into the Republic of India on December 19, 1961, by military conquest.

 5.Made Diu fort
The Diu town is located to the west of the fort. The fort was built in 1535 after a defense alliance forged by Bahadur Shah, the Sultan of Gujarat and the Portuguese when Humayun, the Mughal Emperor waged war to annex this territory.

6.Diu a dry state
Diu and Daman is a union territory, administered by the central Government. Daman is just a neighbor of Gujarat, not a part of it. That why liquor is freely available in Diu, but it is prohibited by Gujarat Government within the state as per independent powers are given to every state concerning liquor.kalpeshsolanki

Antelope Canyon Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona.
