Periyar National Park

Periyar National Park is a vast area, with the hilly surface. But wild animals are rare. Most of the drivers don't know Hindi or English languages. They do not help you to familiar with local flora and fauna. Language is a great problem. Of course, few of them know English and Hindi.
You can see here a few elephants on the far top of the hills. Abandoned lemongrass is growing. Different? you can see it here. At least we have nothing seen beyond these.
If language would not be a barrier, the visit here could be an attractive place with vast knowledge. However, natural beauty is very sexy, sufficient to deliver you a very pleasant experience.

t's a good place for 1.5 hours boating and can see wild Buffalo, stags, wild dogs, fox, and water cats, etc. Better go in the morning or evening after 3pm so that one can see animals come to shore to drink water,.
